Video Excellence
What makes an excellent wedding video? And yes, we're going to meet any standards discussed here! Two basic processes are important, video capturing and video editing. Video capturing is the process of videoing your event. To do it well, it helps to have high quality digital cameras and wireless microphones. (We have the best). The result will be a very colorful, detailed picture, and crisp vows during the ceremony. If your budget will afford it, it also helps to have extra camera coverage, especially at large weddings or if you hope to get those extra bride and groom camera angles during the ceremony.
Video editing, the second basic process, needs just as much attention as video capture in creating your special video. You can capture the best pictures in the world but if you can't cut them up with precision and add soundtracks while maintaining picture quality, your wedding isn't going to be the heirloom that you or your friends watch often. To maximize this quality measure, it's helpful to have computerized editing equipment which minimizes the need to compress the captured video when it hits the computer's hard drives. Since you're on our page, I'll point out that our editing equipment doesn't compress the captured video at all! True broadcast quality is maintained throughout the process. Not many wedding videographers can say this. You can probably count them on one hand in the Philadelphia area.
Another important part of the video editing process is adding variation and creativity to the pictures themselves. As children of the TV generation, we are accustomed to shorter clips, quick changes, and textures being added to the pictures. By adding variation, we keep the viewers attention and pleasure!
